A cover redesign of the Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. The focus was on creating a series using photographic imagery to capture the essence of the novel. Prioritizing the process of exploration and experimentation.
Process:
These covers were created by photographing metal surfaces and creating collages of mist covered landscapes. These covers focused a lot of experimenting with imagery and creating unqiue images that strayed away from traditional high fantasy cover designs.
